Swansea City Office Letting

Acting on behalf of Aviva Insurance Ltd, property consultancy, CLC Chartered Surveyors (CLC), has agreed a letting at 163 St Helens Road to Antur Insurance, a wholly owned subsidiary company of Cullum Capital Ventures Limited (CCV). CCV is one of the fastest growing insurance intermediary groups in the UK currently employing over 800 people in more than 40 locations across the UK


Antur was established in 2001 as a joint venture between four local insurance brokers and now employs 72 staff across South Wales and has branches in Ammanford, Barry and Haverfordwest.


Antur have taken a 6 year lease and will occupy the whole ground floor of the property, which comprises 4,500 sq ft office accommodation. CCV are currently refurbishing the property with a view to taking occupation in mid August.


The majority of the landmark city centre building, which was occupied by General Accident and then Aviva has been vacant for a number of years following Avias reduced opperations in the City.


Peter Loosmore, Partner at CLC, commented: "This letting is positive news for the local office market in Swansea and it will also be great to see the building back in use. The building is well known in Swansea and when we received the instruction we were able to use or local knowledge and requirements to generate good interest. We have contacts at CCV who suggested they were looking for space and we were able to put a deal together with which suited all parties".


We have a similar amount of space on the upper floors and have received good interest thus far which we hope will lead to a deal once CCV are in occupation.
