Urban Village Letting

CLC have completed the letting of Unit 1 Urban Village to The Raspberry Carkerry Ltd.

Rhian Daniel and Helen Williamson of the Rasbery Cakery   are hoping to inspire those with a love of home baking with their boutique cake shop, The Raspberry Cakery, and said: "Coastal Housing are doing so well to raise awareness of the area and I feel that the future of this development is very promising. The potential for growth and regeneration of the High Street makes this an exciting project to be involved with from the outset."

The Urban Village is also the new home of over 100 of Coastal Housing Group's Swansea based staff, securing the complex's reputation as the flagship development for the regeneration of High Street. Coastal received ÂŁ900,000 grant from the Swansea Regeneration Area for its Urban Village regeneration programme. It is intended to transform Swansea's High Street, and bring Kings Lane back into use as the vibrant linkage between High Street and the Parc Tawe site.

Peter Loosmore Partner at CLC commented "This letting is the third letting to complete with Mosaic taking two units, its means that four out of the eight retail units in this phase have now been let.

We have received strong interest in the units from Local and National occupiers however our clients are specific on the type of occupier which they feel will help to rejuvenate the High Street which is very commendable.

We are dealing with the 22,000sq.ft of offices on the 1st and 2nd floor, we are currently in negotiations with two parties looking to take all of the remaining space which is excellent news"
